Our Missionaries
Short Term Missions
Our members are involved with short term missions. This includes trips organized by the CMC, as well as through Mennonite Disaster Service, Youth With a Mission, and numerous other organizations.
Recent Short Term Mission Trips:
- An MDS trip to California by one of our couples to help build homes destroyed by forest fires.
- Two separate trips organized by the Chortitzer Mennonite Conference to Bolivia to help construct new buildings needed for ministry there, involving a total of 5 members of our congregation.
- A Youth Missions Trip to Louisana to help with MDS's ongoing relief efforts following Hurriance Katrina several years ago.
Camp Workers
Some of our congregation also serve at Bible camps in the summer. They serve in many areas: as cabin leaders, kitchen staff, maintenance workers, and camp speakers.
